Event Appropriate Sub
The endurance and calisthenic masochist in me _loves_ this, but I got a 1.5 mile run test (w, pushup/situp preamble) end of this coming week. Wondering if anyone would recommend a more appropriate weekend and early week workouts catered to fine-tuning/tapering for my "event."

12/8/12 WOD
I had my bike set-up for a tempo/tt WOD for today and was gonna do this WOD tomorrow, but decided last minute to do this today because Captain Ben didn't have a choice when and when not to fight. 1:55:33 hours. Did strenght recovery after. Burpees got harder and harder after 10K. I'm exhausted. Glad I did this I feel a lot better about myself today. Thanks for all your service Captain Ben, this was for you.

BBB 3 Ton Burpee WOD
20 Rounds of 1000 M Run and 15 Burpees in 2:12:50. Slow and steady... It was an honor to complete this WOD. I had flashbacks to doing Clovis last month.

BBB today
Wasn't quite able to finish BBB due to time constraints today, but definitely one of the most challenging workouts I've done. I was running on a 1000m course with the first 500m uphill--a bit of an extra challenge. In the future I hope to do it in full.

Thanks everyone
Hi Guys, I was the one who came up with the idea for this WOD whilst training for Spartan Beast in London. Ben was a training friend of mine a while back and was always smiling whilst doing burpees through wind, rain, sleet, snow and more rain. My time was 2hrs 10mins 31 secs and I was finished at the end! His brother Dan wrote this to me today: "I just wanted to say a massive thank you to both of you for this - it really means a lot to my Mum and I to see Ben remembered.

The 'BBB’s 3-Ton Burpee WOD' is definitely a fitting tribute, and it's nice to see the messages left by others that attempted the WOD"

So thanks to all who posted...
